Property Week’s North West 2010 Conference & Awards took place at Manchester Central on Thursday 11th February. The conference, chaired by Property Week’s editor Giles Barrie, saw eighteen speakers take to the stage to debate the future for the property market in the North West region.
In the evening over 600 representatives of the UK’s property industry attended the 2010 Awards Dinner, which was held to reward outstanding performance by individuals, teams and projects that have excelled in the North West region during past 12 months.
Specialist agency p3 property consultants, who sell and let industrial, warehouse and office space on behalf of a diverse range of private and public sector clients throughout the North West, were shortlisted in two categories – ‘Deal of the Year’ for their work on the team at Kingsway Business Park where US based C.R. Laurence is expanding its Europe operation by acquiring a prestigious new HQ office and warehousing unit totalling 71,000 sq ft. and ‘New Company of the Year’, open to companies less than three years old.
Whilst p3’s claim to Deal of the Year was pipped by the overseas investment sale of the Mann Island redevelopment in Liverpool, they went on to convincingly win the judges vote for best New Company.
